The Green Welly
Situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Ditchling with a gorgeous courtyard garden we are an independant village cafe, focusing on local home-made food, made with love.
We use local suppliers where possible, our coffee is supplied by Pharmacie in Lewes, our sausages come from a local farm in Chelwood Gate, our cheese from the Sussex High Weald Dairy, our bread from Coburn&Baker in Brighton and our eggs from Mac’s Farm in Ditchling. We make almost everything ourselves from our Granola to our baked beans and if we don’t make it, we use a local supplier to make it for us.
Situated just a stone’s throw from Ditchling Beacon and located in the South Downs National Park we are ideally located for walks and rides on the South Downs Way, or through our lovely Sussex countryside. You can also enjoy a gentle stroll around our pretty historic village incorporating a visit to the Ditchling Museum of Art and Craft. We welcome dogs, cyclists, walkers alike, come on in and see us.
